hello...i guess, we are in the same boat...wolpoff and abramson (on behalf of discover) served me a summons and complaint just recently (late august). within 20 days, i answered the complaint consisting of affirmative defenses and motion for dismissal plus i sent them a copy (certified r/r)and gave the original to the courthouse. i am anxiously waiting for them to contact me again, but, to no avail. question, how do i file for a 3-month continuance?...should i have filed this before answering their summons, or after they send me a notice of appearance for a court date. i plan to appeal in the event they win because they are really nasty people. i would surely appreciate your help mbnamisery. thank you.
