I am behind on a credit card, due to a divorce. I actually tried to set up payments w/ a service that promised to set up a payment plan w/ reduced monthly payments. Of course they did absolutely nothing except take my money and let my payments get behind. Now my accounts have been turned over to a collection agency (Wolpoff & Abramson), I am making payments every month but they are demanding the entire amount and actually calling me and using profanity and threats in their attempts to collect. Any suggestions that could possibly help me? Thank you for assistance.
