I live in Missouri and last year I receive a collection letter from Nationwide Recovery Systems on an account with AT&T wireless. I use to have an account with AT&T wireless, but was not completely convinced that I owed them this money so I sent them a validation letter and never heard a word one.

I have now come to realize that this debt is on my credit report and have also received a collection letter from a new collection agency for the same alleged debt. This collection agency is "Bureau of Collection Recovery, INc."

When I send them a validation letter, should I enclose a copy of the validation letter to the first collection agency and how should I go about removing the debt from my credit report.

This debt is for a mere $146.00, but I just don't want to have to pay something that is not mine and definately don't want a collection paid or not paid on my account that is not mine.

any help would be appreciated.
