Why Chat update "Court today help..."

THANK YOU so much and everyone on this board who answers our questions! If you read my earlier post about court Dec. 4th well it was today the 3rd :) luckily I checked the paperwork last night. We went in front of a judge and the CA tried to talk with me again outside in the waiting earlier before our case was called. I said "I do NOT want to talk to you I'll talk to you infront of the judge". Well I said this is not my debt etc as recommended when called they said ok you want to contest then ,take a seat and we'll call you and send you to another judge down the hall. As we went down the hall he again said can I ask you one thing I can help knock this debt in half.. I said nothing. We then waited 1 hour+ while the judge heard aother cases. This guy was pacing ,bored and looked pissed. When the judge finally called us much to my surprise teh Lawyer fir teh CA said Judge Ican't produce a witness or the original contract for this 5000.00 + credit card debt so Iwould like you to just forget it and give the defendant the win!!! The judge said to him are you sure slow down he was looking at his watch and said no thats what I want. The judge said I won and both parties have a right to appeal within 30 days he split looking like I wasted his day .Aggh aint that a shame.
