You must have the christmas spirit or something because you are being wayyy too nice. A $200 offer for JBC does nothing to them. You have to nail them for $1000 for your client, more money for your client for any state laws they broke, money for slander and defamation, money for fraud, and of course as much in legal fees as you can get. You have way too much mercy for the scum in life. Hit em hard. Make them pay. These companys only care about cash so take it away from them. Get your client to file ethics charges against their firm with the NJ essex county bar association. The bar there is VERY aware of JBC. You can certainly put your client in a position to go after their license. I get tons of emails still from JBC victims and JBC simply will not stop. They continue to ignore all bbb,ag, and cease and desist orders. File suit against them but do it before christmas so they have a nice present to come back to. Also, sue the dang collector who made the calls. They may not care about the company getting sued but these low selfish scummy lifeforms will certainly care when they are forced to travel else lose a multi thousand lawsuit. Do not settle with the collector. Make them come to court. Go after their bank account with garnishment or their jobs for garnishment. Think of the fun of garnishing a collection agency. If you take out the individual scum(and there are some doozies at JBC) the rest will get scared and follow the law.
