The probability of MBNA suing you in a non wage garnishment state with a 5 thousand dollar ding already on your credit report while having no assets is ZERO. They may send it out to various collection agencies they use, doubtful they’d send a no asset case to Wolpoff and Abramson for arbitration, and most likely they will immediately sell the account to Collect America for 10 cents on the dollar. Their collectors, fraudulently representing themselves as Attorneys for MBNA, will threaten you incessently with lawsuits. Study up on Collect America and its phony lawyers, Cambece, Soffar, Bronson, Migliaccio, Dejanna, Defade, Scherr , etc. You’ll probably be hearing from one of their offices soon enough after charge off. There are many postings over the past few months about Collect America. You should read through them all.
