This is such great advice. It has been frustrating, but I know that with time and perseverence it will get better. This website has been the greatest -- the support, impeccable -- and I have referred several people to it. I also told my mortgage loan officer about it so she can refer people who need advice.
I've often wondered about the credentials of the people who help us so much (you know who you are), not that I question anything, not even close, but it's more of a curiosity and a warm hug from me for all they do; they donate precious hours to helping us unfortunate, noncredit-savvy people dig ourselves out of our holes and face the world again. You all know so much and help so much and I am greatful. Thank you!

I know my situation currently isn't as bad as others, but I too have had thousands upon thousands of dollars in unsecured debt and had CAs calling and harrassing me to tears. Most of it happened when I first found out I was pregnant with my second baby and a divorce was already barely underway. Things got better for me with time, but I wish I had known about this site then.

I know... you can't shut me up.
