Please read the FCRA rules. You are entitled to a free credit report if you have been denied credit, DENIED EMPLOYMENT, or denied a foreclosure.

+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

I should have said this better. If you read the FCRA rules on this site, the credit bureaus will offer you a free credit report if you have been denied credit, a mortgage or EMPLOYMENT based on your credit report.

If you have been turned down for a job, the potential employer has to give you the reason. If they tell you they have some concerns about you based on your credit report, you are then entitled to a free credit report.

Employers do check credit reports and they have the same attitudes and reactions to bad credit as lenders do when considering giving you credit. Some employers don't check but many more are doing so.
