what kind of school charges $1900 tuition?

My student loans are over $60,000 and I just started paying them. I graduated in 2000 and have been on deferment since then. The interest alone is over $200 a month and my payments are roughly $500. There are many different deferments, there are also graduated repayment plans, salary-based repayment, etc. I'm thinking this must have been one of those loans that community college gives out for tuition, not a federally backed US Dept. of Education / Sallie Mae type loan.
