If your nephew wants to clean up his credit report, then he'll need to follow WhyChat's advice. Declaring BK is unnecessary at this point and will be on his credit report for 7-10 years, and the stigma will stay around for life. Why should an innocent person have to go through this? Why should the mother who committed these crimes against her own son get off scott free?
