NO, you should NOT be worried at all. The SOL on cc debts in TX is FOUR YEARS - they can NOT sue you to collect this debt and their threat is illegal. If its 7 years since charge-off this thing should also NOT be on your credit report.

Go to WhyChat's site (see **NEWCOMERS post below) and send them the Notification of SOL letter. The TX statute you need to complete the letter is also on WhyChat's site.

Tell the CA to crawl back into the cesspool he slithered out of !
