They MIGHT put a freeze on your bank accounts prior to filing for judgment, but I doubt it, unless they can PROVE to the Court that there is evidence of your having substantial assets that you are going to hide.

NH has some very liberal exemptions, you can find them by goingto the BK exemption link on my website.

The garnishment issue is slightly mre complicated. In the case of a judgment, (for other than child support or Gov. loans or taxes),for all intents and purposes there IS no wage garnishment in N.H.

The most they could get from you, after some VERY expensive legal work, would be $300. for ONE WEEK. To get any more, they would have to refile all the legal papers over again.
