You need to respond to the NAF. This will delay a judgment for a couple of months.

I know a number of people send in letters rejecting arbitration but I don't think that has actually worked in stopping the NAF from entering a judgment. Then you end up having to fight the arbitration judgment in court which is expensive and tiem consuming. Although there are cases invalidating the arbitration clauses, there are more cases that seem to enforce them but it doesn't hurt to object to it.

If your situation requires bankruptcy, then you should do it and just start over.

I know having money and then losing it all is very depressing. I went through that myself and got to the point where I lost all hope but you just have to keep your head up and keep fighting. I still have a lot of debt but gradually have been turning things around a settling some of them but if I had to do it over, I think I would have filed bankruptcy a few years ago and just put everything behind me. Now htings are moving along fine and I don't think I can file anymore unless things go donw hill again.

Good luck.
