or do you wait until it is filed?

Here is my story. I owe $40k in credit cards. I lost over 200k in the stock market bubble and am broke. I have not worked for 3 years because of depression. I stay with friends and have nothing to lien. At one time I made a six figure living and the CA thinks they will get something from me. I have been suffering from depression and can hardly get out of bed. The CA is going to file ARB next week in California where i live.

Do I write to the National ARB board and reject the CA's request or do I wait for it to happen? The CA showed me where I agreed to it many years ago with my CC company.

I have seen a BK lawyer and he told me to file soon. I am embarassed and will file in the next two months but I am too sad to want to do it now. The CA will file ARB because at one point i made a good living. I told them i have not worked in 3 years but could care less.

Do i wait for the ARB filing or is there a way to stop it before it is filed.. Many thanks
