Newcomers should educate themselves by reading the archives and getting to know the posters for their situation before taking ANY action. This being in the interest of fairness of all: Observations and Legit Questions for SunkissedBeach for your postings beginning 12/24/03 to date: (1) You moved to Montreal 18 mos ago - searched for work for 15 mos, then you must have worked as a "Collector" for approx 3 mos. now. Have you worked as a "Collector" before? You seem to have gained extensive collection knowledge in such a short period of time. (2) Since you needed this job so badly, just to put food on the table, how did you survive the 15 mos without work and at the same time eliminate $30,000 worth of debt to have such a high FICO score? (3) In the 3 mos you have been a caring collector you have placed 144 "Protected People" in your string of accounts: (a) What happens to these "protected people" after your "6 mos of protection" is up (Took you 15 mos to find a job, some are old or disabled, etc)? (b) If you continue to "Protect" them after "6mos", your string of accounts would become what number at that growth rate? (3) Do you ever wonder if the Dad or Mom goes to bed hungry because they dont tell you that he/she needs to pay the "nice" collector and still try to feed their own 4 children?...Many do not tell collectors about their families, much less about their dogs or birds. (4) You have yet convinced me it is morally correct to pay a third party collector anything. Why should I contribute to such an immoral industry? If the CO can no longer accept our payment, would charity not be the moral solution?
