since it depends on ur state and others here know more about that, let me just add a view. u didnt see any new furniture or things in ur house? they may be hidden. perhaps she needs to be evaluated by a dr as this could be a symptom of bipolar disorder and certainly is a symptom she is desperately unhappy and has probs. some people have compulsive overspending as a addiction. i think she has more goin on than u may be aware of. should u put in fraud im almost certain u must file charges for this..and she will be arrested. (had something like this happen with a stolen gun once at least in texas u have to).. im sorry for ur situation..i wish u the best in fixin it. she needs help desperately. im not certain she was being malicious ..but if she was..then im sure legal recourse would help u there. ie charges filed by u.
