I asked the same question, i.e. "can they freeeze pre-judgement in CA ?". Nobody answered my question. Instead, you get everybody throwing in their opinions. I was told they can freeze in Texas. What the fuck? Who lives in Texas here that's asking this question? Unless you have IRS/child support/set-off situations, I see no legal reason why they can freeze in CA. The problem is that people like WhyChat and LadynRed won't fess up to the fact that they don't know. Otheriwse they would answer the questions directly and specifically. There's probably more useful chat boards around.
