My post was not about a blanket judgment as to whether or not everyone should pay old debts.

I was speaking specifically to DixieDrifter about whether her point of view would be the same in different circumstances.

I could care less if people pay their debts. I don't benefit one way or the other if they do or don't.

But, I do reserve the right to challenge anyone's premise or argument and I exercise that right *regularly*.

That's not about judgment. That's simply discussion and conversation. There's nothing wrong or judgmental about that. And, even if it is judgmental, so what?

I can't make something wrong by simply *saying* it's wrong. If people feel judged by my comments that is their own conscience stepping in.

Once again, the silly thread started because in *my opinion* some dimwitted deadbeat refused to accept the mere possiblity that it could be more expensive to fight a debt than it is to pay a debt. Amazing.

Most people pay if they are able. And, if they are not able, they seek help in protecting their basic needs. I'm all for that. Anyone who's read my previous posts, would know that.

Most people are not like deadbeat who simply chose not to pay and now is begging for help in avoiding paying... $52.

As for your point about my finding a board with like-minded people, I think I've found that right here. I believe that the majority of people on this board agree with me.
