Thought everyone might want to see some of the thinking out there by the "other" guys regarding 1099c. Check out the site below regarding some actions discussed by bankers. Also, a year or so ago I remember reading something to the effect that if everything placed on an account after the 1st deliquency is overlimit and late fees and interest than you don't have to declare it on your taxes. I know I saved the article and will look for it like crazy in the next couple of days. Just let me find it before everyone starts jumping on me. Thanks to Why Chat and others for their responses to my previous post regarding Ohio SOL. The information you have provided is unbelievable. Knowledge REALLY IS POWER.
