Look under NH and look under government and then look for judicial and look for the civil rules of procedure. It is sometimes called civil code. It specifies in there exactly how you must be served.

In Texas, they can staple the summons to the door. In NH they might not be able to. To find the answer to that, go to www.yahoo.com, look under states, look under government, then look under judicial branch, and go through the court sites until you find a list of civil rules of procedure. This is where you will find the specific rules for that court and district on how you must be served and what method they must use to do so.
