Thank you for the truth. There is so much mis-information out there about what can and can't be done legally.It seems feasable that if debt scavengers are allowed to buy old debts,they would be allowed to see credit reports as well.blightwing placed an inquiry before I sent the cease-comm ,SOL letter and I did use the one from your website.It was sent certified,return receipt and I have the evidence they received it. They have sold this debt to another company.I received a phone call from them informing me of the debt now being owed to them.I sent your cease-comm ,SOL letter to them Sat.The same way,certified,return receipt.Also,I opted-out several months ago.
They are able to place hard inquiries until the cease-comm is sent,but not after receiving it.I understand now.
