it actually sounds like you are telecheck or scan not chex systems. Telecheck and Scan are firms that department and grocery stores use, whereas chexsystems is what bank use when a person overdraws or abuses an account. What I would do is do a yahoo search for telecheck (because it is probably them), give them a call and find out what is going on. They sould be able to tell you right away if there is an outstand check that is still due, or if the medical company just did not take you off the system. If there is an outstanding debt you can pay it with a cc over the phone and the problem will be solved in about an hour.
