I know that I am asking a lot of different kinds of questions but I am trying to decide what my best avenue would be. I am trying to decide between bankruptcy, debt negotiation, and just simply ignoring the problem and seeing what happens. I am basically "judgment proof" with no garnishable income, no checking account, and no assets. The total debt amount is @ 20,000 with the largest being $7000 and the smallest being $1200.(six different card). Creditors are Advanta, household, citibank and a few department store cards. Are any of these likely to sue me? Also, I was wondering about MGM law firm to help me negotiate a possible settlement in the future. Any advice?
Also, I do not live in a community property state but my husband was an authorized user on the largest card. Is he liable for that one? He does have a bank account, wages and assets.
Thanks
Thanks
