I do not know how to respond to your post regarding the Debt management portion. But the portion of your post relating to the Better Business Bureau I can respond to. I generally do not believe the the BBB is very reliable. The may make their money off of the dues paid by the very company on which they are reporting.

I had filed a BBB complaint against a collection agency and recieved an email from the BBB asking me to respond to the collections agency answer. What the person from the BBB did not realize I suspect she automatically had her email client forward me the previous communications from the collection agency as part of her response to me. The communications between the BBB and the Collections Agent indicated a HIGH LEVEL of familiarty, and additionally violated FDCPA in which the Collections Agent communicated to a third party information without my consent that they were not priviledged to know.

Since that time I have had little faith in the BBB.

I know I did not answer your question, and hopefully others will be along to better assist you.

Marvbear.
