The wolves (W & A) have filed a Motion for Summary Judgement today on behalf of Discover after a month of the pre-trial hearing w/c I did not attend. Question: what is the difference of a summary judgment from a default judgement. What has more penalty? What could they take from me if I live in Delaware which is a non-community state? How long will it take before a Sheriff appears on my doorstep? I have been unemployed for years now, so there is no salary to garnish. Except for the house and car that I co-own with my spouse (he is not in any of my credit card debts though, plus he is the primary on our car title and on our first/second mortgage), I really have no assets. Will the court ever inform me on the outcome? I do not plan to attend because I have no lawyer and I cannot face embarassment. I am so very stressed out...the trial will be on march. any help from anyone would be greatly appreciated.
