This is a Discover account that has not been paid on since June, 2001. that's when the last payment was made. I was late on that payment and I never heard anything from Discover after that. I assumed the debt had been written off and I could somehow breathe easy. Friday, I got a call from a very rude woman at W&A saying she wanted the money that day. I cannot pull money out of my butt. I have put her off until tomorrow at noon. What can I do??? BTW, I"m in West Virginia. Thanks, in advance, for any and all advice.
