re the medical bill i paid/whose stupid now? not me!

now this is what i did today. this may not work with big companies like cap1 ..but on this issue it worked. i called and ended up with a guy who is the assistant exe. administrator. this is his words. "a collection agency only gets paid when they r paid directly. they take their cut..and send us the rest". end quote. he was very appreciative..wanted to know the company involved because he will call them and request that agent never deals with their accounts again. he stated he has had several fired because he wont tolerate verbal abuse in his dealings. he thanked me for this as he feels a CA can make them look bad if they use this type of payment demands. he also said any time i had any financial probs in the future to call him directly and he would handle it. u never know..u can call and try. it helped me. and i now know how CAs get paid! so liar liar pants on fire to u...anon!!!!. lmao....dont underestimate this old lady! btw i paid and they settled for 50% reformed. and i have it in writing, its paid in full. if i could find the 1500 triad would take i would pay them. they offered 40% while ago to settle. damn wish i had it! i am gonna look into a loan in the fall to pay off these people. but no i wont do it stupid. i will watch my a*s*s.
