Irregardless of the SOL, not sure what state you are or if you are in or out of SOl, you did send them a Valadation Request. The FDCPA forbids furthere debt collection attempts untill such time as they valadate the debt to you. They have violated the law by sending you that second notice dated after your valadation request, which you have proof of their receipt of. Keep that second letter as evidence of their breaking the law. Also keep a record of any attempted calls or further communication.
