hi fellow nite owl lol. yes i see what ur saying. up to him ..he shoulda went after her way back on the support. judgements work both ways!! lol. my pal is raising 2 of her grandsons and still wont go after one's dad for his. me--i woulda went after him way long ago. i did the negotiation with a hospital and got them to accept half..and mine also were very nice. however..still make them itemize the bill. u might find u dont owe a quarter of whats left. they r notorious for padding bills. with kids..yes this happens. im glad he is ok now..and u r also! good luck to ya..and yep ..go after her for her half. :) small claims court here is up to 5,000.
