You SHOULD however, send a reply to the CA,with a copy to the Court, make sure your case # and full identification of the book and page of the judgment are included, state that you are working at(give name of your employment) and earn (give your pay and the pay period) and are totally exempt from wage garnishment.If you have other exemptions, such as disability or ssi or child support inome, state "all of my other income is totally exempt under Ill. law from garnishment as it is (give type of income)If you have a bank account, state that all funds in any of your bank accounts are exempt from seizure as they are
derived from exempt sources.
By the way, was this a default judgment? When had you last paid the original creditor, and when was the lawsuit filed ?
