I have kept mine open. I keep nothing but the $5 I have to in the savings, and I only pay 4bills online from that acc't. All of my bills get paid within 2days of putting money in it. The chances of a ca getting it would be like winning the lottery. The rest of the time there is maybe $50 left in it. The rest of the paycheck gets cashed, and the rest of the bills get paid with money orders, and we only use cash for anything else.
Looks better to me to PROVE I have nothing than to hide money under someone elses name.
A CA can't take what isn't there.
