I stopped payment on a citibank at the end of 2002. A law office represent citibank is suing me, and is in the final stage of getting a judgement. Before the trial (in April), can I still negotiate with citibank? Because I don't want to deal with the scumbag attorney who just want me to pay in full and nothing else. Will citibank still talk to me?
Is this a right move for me? Thank you. I am in California. Last payment is Dec.2002
