here is where i am. i cant pay the big ones yet..so i have no assets and took my money out of my checking account. most of it. i am paying the small ones first because i am not of the belief of dont pay. sooner or later..one has to pay most of it and i am way too early in the game (6 months since charge off)...what you have to do..is get all the advice you can and sit down and make whatever decision you can live with and deal with. no one here has the perfect or right solution for you. you need more legal than most can give you anyways online. listen to all the views and make your own choices and be proud of them. hugs*** do you owe the lawsuit? what all you want to do is beyond most, if not all, here online. its too complicated and one cant dispense legal advice online without being licensed. thats my best advice to you,. learn all you can and make your own choices. sooner or later, this debt we accumulated will come back to bite us in the ass. can you afford to settle? then settle. if not..think on BK. or let them get a judgement and move any assets. anyways...my 2 cents.
