My case is still pending. The CA got a default judgment after SOL had expired then levied my bank accounts 4 years later (2003) I never got anything in the mail about this. When I did, it was after my accounts were seiged. I filed Motion to dismiss default judgment. At the Civil hearing, the Court granted me the maximum amount allowed for the CA violation of State law ($1,000.00)for my SSI account, and denied my Motion to dismiss. I'm appealing. Last week I was told that the $1,000.00 was all I will get out of this lawsuit. My defense is SOL, due process, and not being served properly. Has anyone ever heard of anything similiar to this? Can anyone quote me cases on this?

Thanks, JodyLyn
