dont do that, please. a paid in full is as bad on a credit report as a unpaid. plus, it sounds like its completely out of SOL. you dont wheel or deal with something this old. and never pay for a letter saying "paid in full"..only pay IN SOL for a complete deletion and a 1099 or a letter stating nothing further owed on this account. you know paid in full means nothing on a report.
