The ER managed to get a hold of my parents Health Care Provider in 1998 and that was paid. What we never recieved a bill for was the Dr's professional services fee. I find it interesting that the ER could find us, but the Dr's office couldn't. (I did move, but filled out the change of address slip with the post office). When I called the Dr's office to get any information, they told me that they didn't have my records anymore and that I would have to talk with MedCLR. MedCLR will not return a phone call or respond to our letters requesting account information.
I am new at this stuff and don't know what an OC is or "validation" of account, etc. I have contacted the CRAs (figured that out) and submitted as dispute as "not mine and duplicate". If MedCLR will not respond so that my parents HC provider can pay this, what do we do?

Thanks for your help!
