You can be sued and they can get a judgement. But they cannot garnish your wages. Primarily, you should be concerned about your checking account. I wouldn't keep large sums in your account. I still pay my normal bills, but any extra dollars I keep in a safe. And I fully understand that any money in my account could be frozen. Good luck!
