First of all the account is passed the SOL. The statue of Limitations is the time in which they have to sue you. While CAs can continue to contact you regarding payment of an account, they can not do anything legal to collect. The SOL in Texas for open accounts(credit cards) is 4 years.

Send the SOL letter. By the way, GA attorney can not bother you anyway.

There is a lot of psychology in debt collection. CAs lie and threaten, it's the way the do business. In your case, they can't do anything but lie and threaten. Don't worry about it.
