I took a quick look at the web site, but did not see Small Claims Court mentioned. I was sued in Small Claims court. Also, I think it is legal for the CA to have you served before they actually file in court. My other thought is, if a CA is calling you consistently, the man with the badge could be a ploy. I had a guy in a sheriff uniform walk right up to me in a store one day, braisen me. I looked right at him, with a smug look on my face. However, good thing he couldn't see that my knees were shaking.
I proceeded to walk over to my husband, and he walked away. Don't know what that was all about (if anything) maybe just my own paranoia. Will never know.
