The best way to get a price for you home for BK is to call a real estate agent and ask them for a 'walk away' price. This is a quick sale value, which is what a Trustee would get IF they were to sell the property. Tax assessment is ok, but often you won't even get that in a 'sell it right now' situation. If equity is too high for exemptions, the walk-away price will get that equity number down considerably. As already stated, "credit manager" is completely wrong as it is unlikely you would lose your home, or anything else for that matter !
