When you checked with the your local municipal court, did the old unserved case and the new summons have the same case numbers. Usually if you cannot be served and they let things just stand the municipal court judges like there dockets cleaned up and I got to believe something from two years ago must have been removed, and this is a new filing, yes or no?? It may matter
when considering timing of things.
