I had my wages garnished for a judgement from a broken lease about a year and a half ago. It's my understanding that I couldn't be fired for the first garnishment, but I'm very likely to be sued for a delinquent credit card account, but if they sue all they can get of value from me is my wages. I'm pretty sure that my employer will fire me for the second garnishment. Will this make the Debt collector have second thoughts about suing me?
