any communication from a CA says the following "ANY info obtained will be used in collection of this debt" trust me..they dont want anything but info from you. these documents are full of it..your address, your job, your bank, dont send them nothing. its their prob. and CAs will always ask for a settlement. the only thing they "update" to CRAs is "paid charge off" wow,, thanks, what a gift!!!! lol. up to you if you want to settle but get more than that in writing...as paid in full, paid to delete completely off CR,,etc. 1099 if applicable..etc. they also may think because you are asking for this, you care about it and will pay it. be veryyyyyyyyy careful.
