in texas they cant garnish wages for student loans. depends on your state laws. you also can get extensions on the loans. my son in law does every year or, yes, they will take your income tax refund for federal loans/ where one is sued can either be where the debt originated or your current residence and this needs whychat, cause this person moved everywhere. lol. try for extensions on the loans...some legislation is trying to pass to include some loans in BK IF your prove its a hardship, but it hasnt passed yet.
