I was approved with Orchard Bank, my FAKO score through Experian was 580, and 560 through Equifax. I have 4 CO's from 3 1/2 yrs ago and about 6 other bad tradelines. They charge $59/year and there rates really suck. I'm using it basically to regain credit and get my FICO score to a level I can purchase a house, get a car, etc. I sympathize with your predicamate. I had a 5 month layoff in 2000, which resulting in an eviction and all the charge offs, I can't currently get electricty or phone in my name but I'm slowly getting back on track. Hang in there and if you do get approved for a CC be careful these sub-prime lenders figure you're already getting a second chance by carrying their card so there are no more breaks. Don't be late, don't go over the limit. I read on another site which JKelly referred me too--thanks--that Target Guest Card isn't too picky either. But with the BK you're in a little different situation than I am.
