Im not sure if we did pay them from the account we have now or not but to be honest we have nothing in the accounts. Should I still look into changing the bank accounts? Is it possible for them to go in and take for example direct deposit money out from paychecks? When we get paid the funds go straight to bills with little remaining in the accounts. Another question I had was the Collection agent was on the line then someone claiming to be her supervisor got on and started saying stuff like "I know you work for ..... thats all the information I need to collect on this debt and You will be paying back more now." Isnt there something in the fair debt collections act which should keep them from threatening me?

Thanks for your quick response.
