no, they cant. check whychats site on penn for exemptions. i dont know all 50 offhand, lol. they cant take your tvs..they may can seize your house, i dont know in penn..someone will be along to answer if you dont find it in whychats links. each state has like so much equity exempt, etc... check the courthouse for a suit actually filed. some simply use the arbitration...to threaten you. they can not do sh** without a court hearing..and then another to seize something. usually the only things they can do..is garnish wages or put a lien on a home..each state is diff in the laws and exemptions. each of those takes additional court time..they first must win a judgement against you. show up and fight it...make them spend time and money..even if their right. if a suit indeed has been filed..show up and argue. make them show complete proof..then move your assets. ie: checking or savings accounts... i dont know about pa...but whychats site has it all...and no, they wont take your belongings. im not real sure if your for real..or a Ca thinkin you can scare us. regardless, not my place to judge. look at your rights and laws. get educated. CAs will lie and bs ya. they will and can take a checking or saving account..for sure. anywhere.
