They can take the arbitration "award" to Court and get a judgment against you without a hearing, without any CHANCE for you to dispute them or defend yourself.( plus it saves them a BUNDLE in legal fees and Court costs) IF you send the refusal of arbitration, they will know that you will object to any "automatic" judgment, and may decide to drop t as not being worth their time & $$. If they DO go ahead and file for a judgment based on the "award" you can fight them with the motion to disallow AS LONG AS YOU HAVE PROOF YOU REFUSED ARBITRATION.
