Why start trouble? If you try to clean up your report, they may think you care about your credit and come after you.

Many judges here in Fl routinely ignore the 4 year sol and say it is 5 yrs.

Lawyers will also advance the theory that they can still sue on the 5 year even if they are a week or two past the ending date. Missed it by that much ! I have heard this in open court. The court didn't buy that one.

Anyway, stay quiet and let the entire sol run- all five years. Expect some action towards the end of the five years as they make a final attempt to get you to pay.

Listen to Keyser and to me- you don't want to go to court. Even if you win, it is a hassle and an aggravation.
