Question to the person who responded to my message: First, thank you for your comments and to give you a little more info, this has already been considered a judgement by default because I didn't go to the first court hearing 9/03. Figured out of sight out of mind I guess. And this does show as a judgment for the original amount of $2505 (now the debt is 4,600 with interest and court fees) on my credit report (listed as a judgement) and is not listed on my credit report I recently pulled in the beginning of June 04 as a open or closed account but it did in 9/03. I'm assuming that it was right at the length of time to be collected. But now this is my 2nd court date and it regards garnishment of wages. I am so lost on all this stuff!!!
